Just a quick post before heading to the store:

I thought I’d contribute this Peach Pit. It’s lightly modeled (ssnd and comm chunks) so there are definitely areas to be improved if the mood hits you.

I made use of the spec @ http://www.aesnashville.org/PDFs/AIFF%20Specs.pdf and a number of sample files to get a good crack.

I will say, as simple as this pit is, it has found bugs. So, next time you set out to write a nifty new aiff player, here are some tests to run!
