natron has recently turned out a sweet presentation for the Oklahoma City ISACA chapter titled “Common Enterprise Security Weaknesses”. I wasn’t there, but the slides can be found here.
With the amount of security fail that I see day-to-day, I enjoy things like this that are realistic/non-alarmist, but still bang people over the head with just how quickly things can down the tubes. Throwing money at product X probably isn’t the answer. Go check out what Nathan has put together. Boomer Sooner!

It’s spring and I was in the mood to build an extract IPA with some balance. Mission accomplished.
Ingredients:
Cooper’s IPA Extract
DME – 3lbs
Crystal 20 – 1lb
Munich – 1lb
Yakima hops – 1oz
Liberty hops – 1oz
Cascade hops – 1oz
White Labs English Ale Yeast
Bring water to 170*F. Steep grains for 45 minutes. At the end of the steep I ran the wort through the grains in a colander a few times(4). Throw in DME and LME. Add Yakima and go 20 minutes. Add Cascade and go 20 minutes. Add Liberty and go 20 minutes.
After a week in primary I racked to secondary and repitched a sizeable starter. Look for this sucker to be poppin’ b0xen at the next OKC2600! Brew!
